Iáu khiám chı̍t-koá khiam-pi

Bí-kok kǹg-thih tāi-ông Khah-nái-ki, chhut-sin tı̄ sàn-hiong ê ka-têng, sè-hàn ê sı̂ bô-siū chèng-kui ê kàu-io̍k. I lóng-sı̄ oá-khò ka-kı̄ ê chū-siu; koh chin khı̂n-khiām; kàu-boé chiâⁿ-choè toā hó-gia̍h-lâng, koh chiâⁿ-choè chı̍t-ê ha̍k-chiá. In-ūi Khah-nái-ki bat lo̍k-koan chin chē kim-chı̂ⁿ, tı̄ Eng-kok chhòng-pān tô͘-su-koán. Só͘-í So͘-kek-lân ê sı̀-ūi tāi-ha̍k ê hāu-tiúⁿ, liân-ha̍p khui-hoē hoan-gêng i, koh pān iân-sia̍h khoán-thāi i. Chia̍h iân-sia̍h liáu-āu, tāi-ke ûi-lô͘ teh kóng-oē. Khah-nái-ki ka-kı̄ kóng-khí i sêng-kong ê le̍k-sú. I tú-tú kóng-kàu chin-tek-ı̀ ê sı̂, i mn̄g lâi-pin kóng: “Goá hiān-chāi ta̍k-hāng lóng-ū, lóng bô khiàm-khoeh sím-mı̍h; chiah-ê lóng-sı̄ goá siang-chhiú phah-piàⁿ tit-tio̍h--ê; chhiáⁿ-mn̄g, lín khoàⁿ goá iáu khiàm-khoeh sím-mı̍h? Tó-ūi chı̍t-hāng Siōng-tè iáu-boē siúⁿ-sù hō͘ goá? Tng-sı̂ tāi-ke lóng chēng-chēng bô chhut-siaⁿ.
