Tı̄ Ìn-tō͘ bat ū chı̍t ê lâng chhoā i ê cha-bó͘-kiáⁿ khı̀ chı̍t ê Ki-tok-kàu ha̍k-hāu chù-chheh.
Hāu-tiúⁿ hoan-gêng in pē-kiáⁿ kóng, “Goán chit-keng ha̍k-hāu tio̍h tha̍k 3, 4 nı̂ chiah oē pit-gia̍p.”
Hū-chhin hoê-ta̍p kóng, “Goá bô àn-sǹg beh hō͘ goá ê cha-bó͘-kiáⁿ toà chia tha̍k hiah nih kú, goá m̄-sı̄ Ki-tok-tô͘, lín che sı̄ Ki-tok-kàu ha̍k-hāu, goá ê bo̍k-tek sı̄ ài hō͘ i tı̄ chia chı̍t-toāⁿ sı̂-kan, thang hō͘ i choè chı̍t-kiāⁿ te̍k-pia̍t ê sū.”
“Sı̄ sím-mı̍h te̍k-pia̍t ê sū.”
Hū-chhin hoê-ta̍p kóng, “Goá ǹg-bāng lí hō͘ i ê bı̄n ū kng.”
Hāu-tiúⁿ mn̄g i kóng, “Hō͘ i ê bı̄n ū kng? Lí ê ı̀-sù sı̄ sím-mı̍h?”
Hū-chhin ı̀n kóng, “Kúi nı̂ lâi, goá khoàⁿ-kı̀ⁿ kùi-hāu ê ha̍k-seng tùi goán tau mn̂g-kháu keng-koè, goá hoat-kak in ê bı̄n ū chı̍t chióng siám-kng, goá khiok m̄-chai tio̍h án-choáⁿ hêng-iông, chóng-sı̄ goá chai he sı̄ chı̍t-chióng hí-lo̍k pêng-an ê piáu-chêng, goá chí-ū ē-thang ēng ‘kng’ chit-jı̄ lâi hêng-iông nā-tiāⁿ.”
Hāu-tiúⁿ tı̀m-thâu kóng, “Sı̄, lí só͘ khoàⁿ ê khak-sı̍t sı̄ kng, he sı̄ in-ūi jı̄n-sek Iâ-so͘ Ki-tok chiah ū kng, in-ūi Iâ-so͘ sı̄ sè-kan ê kng, siat-sú lí ê cha-bó͘ kiáⁿ nā siong-sı̀n, i iā oē tông-iūⁿ hoat-kng.”
